Below are key details regarding our transportation services:
Campers Transportation
Qualified Drivers
Each bus is operated by We Transport bus company driver who holds a CDL (commercial driver’s license).
Safety Features
All buses are equipped with seat belts, first aid kits, and air conditioning to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
Safety Regulations
Car seats are required for campers weighing under 55 pounds.
Supervised Transportation
A Beth Sholom counselor is always present on each bus to supervise the children and ensure they are never alone with just the driver.
Strict Bus Assignments
Campers are not permitted to switch buses or go home on a different bus under any circumstances.
Morning Pickup
No camper will be picked up prior to 7:50 am without approval from Beth Sholom Day Camp.
Included In Camp Fees
Transportation costs are included in the camp pricing. A $25 per week discount is available if you opt out of using the bus service. Please note that busing is not available for the Toddler Time program.
Service Areas
Transportation covers Nassau County and parts of Queens. Please inquire for other areas.
