With two daily swimming sessions based on the American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim program and a diverse range of activities including athletics, arts, and special events, we ensure a well-rounded experience for every camper.

We celebrate the unique qualities of each camper, encouraging originality and self-discovery, and aim to nurture their individual strengths.

My oldest daughter has attended Beth Sholom for the past two summers. She was in the Upper Camp program this past summer and loved it. The camp sends their campers on a weekly trip, including an overnight stay. It's a Kosher camp, and she loved the food as well as the new Ninja course they introduced this past summer. One of the best parts of the camp is the ample indoor space available for cooling off in the air conditioning or for activities on rainy days. We've already signed up for next summer and saved a ton with the Super Early Bird discount.

JAMIE SHAWPARENT

The best camp! It has the absolute best staff, directors, and amenities. My kids LOVE the food and field trips. They have been going there for years, and each year it gets better. Every weekend, they ask me, ¿How many more days until I can go back to camp? That is how much they love BSDC!

STACY GARSONPARENT

My son Taylor can't wait to return for his 5th summer at BSDC. There's nothing he doesn't love about this camp. From swimming twice a day to all the different sports and games that he doesn't get to play during the school year, and even the food—he loves it all. He especially enjoys the pizza and challah on Fridays. He is really looking forward to finally being a part of the upper camp, where they get to go on overnight trips. It's really great to watch him have so much fun at a place that I attended myself as a camper.

ERIC SCHWARTZPARENT

As a multigenerational camp family for over 20 years, there's a reason we keep coming back for summers filled with friends and lots of fun! We love the great programming—whether it's daily swimming, weekly field trips, or even the Ninja course, our daughter always comes off the bus as a 'happy camper.

LAUREN BADERPARENT

Last summer was my first at Beth Sholom Day Camp, and it was a blast. The trips to Urban Air and Club Getaway were so much fun. I really enjoyed the pedal go-karts, gaga, and Zumba activities. My favorite foods were the sloppy joes, and making candy sushi was a special treat. The foam party was a hit, and Color War was unforgettable. I can't wait to go back again this summer!

MIACAMPER

I attended BSDC for many summers! The food was so yummy, ranging from grilled cheese to chicken nuggets to a full salad bar. I loved finishing each day with a cold ice cream or popsicle. The activities were so much fun! I got to swim twice a day, do cool experiments in STEM, run through the Ninja course, and my favorite - DRAMA! But the best part is making friends that I know I'll have forever because camp friends really are the best friends. We had a blast together, and I can't wait to go back.

ABBYCAMPER

I've gone to Beth Sholom Day Camp for the past three summers, and each year it gets better! We do a lot of sports like soccer and basketball, but my favorite was the wiffle ball leagues. I made some new friends too, and we had a blast hanging out together. We actually live close to one another, so we hang out during the year too. One of the best trips we took was to Splish Splash, and as the older kids in camp, we had an Upper Camp late night where we had shaving cream fights and extra time at the pool. My ultimate favorite highlight of the summer was definitely Color War. It was the best part of the whole camp experience.

WESLEYCAMPER

I was a camper at Beth Sholom, a CIT, counselor, division leader, and last summer, an office manager. All I have to say is I LOVE the BSDC family, and I cannot wait to send my daughter to camp there. I’ve worked at other camps throughout the years and always find my way back to BSDC. The environment, program, and staff make the camp feel like a home away from home.

EMILY TOBEYSTAFF

I've served at BSDC for three years now, and this upcoming summer (2024) will mark my fourth. Throughout my tenure, I've held the position of head counselor, and I couldn't be happier. I genuinely adore my role, my colleagues, and, of course, the campers. Among my favorite activities are soccer, Zumba, and the game room, but there's always something new to enjoy. Our camp organizes incredible trips, but Splish Splash stands out as my personal favorite. BSDC has truly become my summer sanctuary, a place I cherish deeply.

JACQUI FINKSTAFF

I've had the best age group - Mini Day 3-year-olds - for the past two years. At the beginning of the summer, the campers are a bit shy; however, by the end of the summer, they blossom into butterflies, spreading their wings. My favorite activity is sports. Even at age 3, they learn teamwork, follow directions, and, most of all, have so much fun. One special event that sticks out in my mind is the puppet show. Watching the campers interact with the puppets is priceless. Beth Sholom Day Camp fosters nurturing, lasting friendships, and growth at any age.
