What to Pack for a Perfect Camp Experience

Here is a detailed list of items your camper will need for a fun and safe experience at camp.

Leave at Camp:

Please send the following items as an extra set:

For Nursery/Kindergarten, Boys/Girls Grades 1&2 campers:

  • Bathing suit
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Set of t-shirt, shorts, and sweatshirt
  • Water shoes
  • Sunscreen
  • Sneakers (optional)
  • Full day nursery only: Rest mat

For ALL Campers:

  • Sunscreen
  • Pool shoes (NO FLIP FLOPS)

Send in Backpack Every Day:

  • A bathing suit
  • Shorts (for girls) and a t-shirt/tank top
  • Socks and sneakers
  • Sunscreen

Wear Every Day:

  • A second bathing suit (full day campers ONLY)
  • Shorts (for boys)
  • Underwear

Do Not Send (provided by the camp):

  • Towels
  • Snacks
  • Sports equipment

Optional Items:

  • Goggles
  • Sunglasses
  • Hat
  • Water bottle

Important Note: Please label everything with your child’s first and last name!

Please Note:

  • Deposit Requirement: Enrollment is not complete until a $750 deposit per child has been received by the camp. This deposit is fully refundable until March 1st, 2024. After that date, deposits will NOT be refunded.
  • Sibling Discount: $200 off the 2nd child, $300 off the 3rd child, $400 off the 4th child.
  • Inclusions in Tuition: All rates include transportation in air-conditioned buses or vans, Glatt Kosher lunch, snacks, and field trips.
  • Full Balance Due: The full balance is due no later than May 1st. Your child(ren) will not be permitted to attend camp if tuition is not paid in full.
  • Referral Fee: A $250.00 referral fee is available for recommending new campers. One referral fee per family, applicable to unlimited children. The referring family must be listed on the camper application upon submission.
  • Credit Card Surcharge: There will be a 3% surcharge for all payments made with a credit card.
  • Security Fee: A mandatory security fee of $175 per family is required.
  • Cancellation Policy: Any reduction in weeks after the start of camp will be credited towards the next year’s camp tuition. There are no refunds or make-ups for absence days.
  • Contingency Plan: Should Temple Beth Sholom be forced to close for circumstances beyond our control, you will be credited towards the next year’s camp tuition.
